Construction:

  • hose fabric permanently fixed mechanically to clamp profile spiral

 

Material:

  • clamp profile spiral: hot-dip galvanised steel band
  • wall: glass fabric laminated with Kapton®

 

Temperature Range:

  • from -260°C approx. to +400°C approx.

 

Applications:

Special extraction and blowing hose for use in the chemical industry, e.g. 
  • for extraction of acidic vapours and gases at high temperatures
  • for extraction of nitrogen

 

Properties:

  • increased temperature resistance to -260°C approx., respectively to +400°C approx.
  • very good chemical resistance
  • excellent resistance to low temperatures
  • very good gas impermeability
  • suitable for electrostatic discharge of non-flammable dust and gases with low conductivity where both ends of the spiral are earthed and with an inclination of < 30 mm, in accordance with TRBS 2153 (zone 1, 21)(guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)

 

Production lengths:

  • from 3 m to 10 m as required
