Construction:

  • hose fabric permanently fixed mechanically to clamp profile spiral

 

Material:

  • clamp profile spiral: hot-dip galvanised steel band
  • wall: Polyethylene fabric, PE coated on both sides

 

Temperature Range:

  • from -40°C approx. to +85°C approx. 
  • short-term to +95°C approx.

Applications:

Special extraction and blowing hose for use in the chemical industry and asbestos decontamination, e.g. 

  • for extraction of acidic vapours, gases
  • for channelling incoming air / discharged air on disposal equipment
  • for technical air equipment as an alternative to PVC hose

 

Properties:

  • good heat resistance up to +85°C approx. or respectively to +95°C approx.
  • very good mechanical resilience
  • free of softener and halogen, therefore environmentally-friendly
  • very good chemical resistance
  • suitable for electrostatic discharge of non-flammable dust and gases with low conductivity where both ends of the spiral are earthed and the inclination is < 30 mm, in accordance with TRBS 2153 (zone1, 21)(guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)

 

Production lengths:

  • from 3 m to 10 m as required
