Construction:

  • hose fabric permanently fixed mechanically to clamp profile spiral

 

Material:

  • clamp profile spiral: hot-dip galvanised steel band
  • wall: PTFE coated glass fabric, electro-conductive < 106 ohm

 

Temperature Range:

  • from -150°C approx. to +250°C approx. 
  • short-term to +270°C approx

Applications:

Special extraction and blowing hose for use explosive environments in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, e.g.  

  • for extraction of aggressive matter
  • for extraction of explosive gases and vapours
  • for extraction of solvents
  • for extraction of acidic vapours

 

Properties:

  • hose wall electro-conductive, surface resistance <106 ohm
  • suitable for electrostatic discharge of flammable dust and gases, where both ends of the spiral are earthed and with an inclination of < 30 mm, in accordance with the European ATEX 94/9/EC directives and the German TRBS 2153 (zone 0, 20)(guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)
  • good heat resistance to +250°C approx., or respectively to +270°C approx
  • excellent chemical resistance
  • interior hose wall anti-adhesive
  • robust
  • resistance to low temperatures

Production lengths:

  • from 3 m to 10 m as required
