Construction:

  • spiral integrated in the hose wall
  • wall thickness between spirals 0.55 mm approx.

 

Materials:

  • spiral: copper-plated spring steel wire
  • wall: high abrasion-resistant Polyester Polyurethane, electro-conductive ≤ 103 ohm
  • colour: black

 

Temperature Range:

  • from -40°C approx. to +90°C approx.
  • short-term to +125 °C approx.

Applications:

Special extraction and blowing hose, electro-conductive construction and therefore suitable for explosive environments, particularly for

  • extraction arms and dust collection equipment
  • CNC machining areas
  • slightly abrasive dust, paint/varnish vapours
  • liquids
  • as a discharge hose

 

Properties:

  • electro-conductive, surface resistance ≤ 103 ohm
  • suitable for electrostatic discharge of flammable liquids and dust where both ends of the spiral are earthed, in accordance with the European ATEX 94/9/ EC directives and the German TRBS 2153 (zone 0, 20)(guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)
  • very light construction (wall thickness 0.55 mm approx.)
  • extremely flexible
  • high axial compressibility
  • abrasion resistant

Production lengths:

  • 10 m and 15 m

  • capable of permanent electrostatic discharge ≤109 ohm (foxiBase PUR SL-AL-F)
  • food grade (FDA) (foxiBase PUR SL-F)
