Construction:

  • exterior: shock-absorbing, anti-abrasion profile
  • clamp profile spiral firmly attached mechanically to hose fabric

 

Material:

  • clamp profile spiral: hot-dip galvanised metal strip with additional  shock-absorbing and anti-abrasion plastic profile
  • wall: specially coated high temperature fabric

 

Temperature Range:

  • exhaust gas temperature up to +200°C approx. when correctly applied with exhaust gas funnels and sufficient fresh air supply

Applications:
Special exhaust gas hose for use in the automotive industry e.g.

  • extraction of motor exhaust gas (diesel and petrol engine)
  • over and under floor suction
  • slotted floor channels
  • hose reels
  • fixed or mobile equipment

 

Properties:

  • exterior: shock-absorbing, anti-abrasion profile  
  • extremely flexible and compressible
  • good heat resistance up to +200°C approx.
  • robust
  • suitable for electrostatic discharge of non-flammable dust and gas with low conductivity where both ends of the spiral are earthed and the inclination is < 30 mm, in accordance with TRBS 2153 (zone1, 21)(guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)

 

Production lengths:

  • from 3 m to 10 m as required
