Construction:

• rotation resistant and slip resistant spiral fixed to the hose wall
• wall thickness between the spirals 1.45 mm approx.

Material:

• spiral: covered spring steel wire, copper-plated
• wall: high abrasion-resistant Polyester Polyurethane, capable of permanent electrostatic discharge ≤10⁹ ohm, food grade (FDA)
• colour: transparent

Temperature Range:

• from -40°C approx. to +90°C approx. 
• short-term to +125°C approx.

Applications:

Special extraction and blowing hose for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries, especially in hazardous areas where a hose wall capable of electrostatic discharge is required (in accordance with TRBS 2153 for flammable dust/solids (guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)), e.g.  

• for transporting coarse-grained foods such as rice, sugar, cocoa beans

• for transporting coarse-grained pharmaceutical solids such as tablets, powders

Properties:

• hose wall capable of permanent electrostatic discharge, surface resistance ≤10⁹ ohm
• suitable for electrostatic discharge of flammable dust/solids where both ends of the spiral are earthed, in accordance with TRBS 2153 (zone 20)(guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)
