Construction:

rotation resistant and slip resistant spiral fixed to the hose wall
wall thickness between the spirals 2.5 mm approx.

Material:

spiral: covered spring steel wire, copper-plated
wall: high abrasion-resistant Polyester Polyurethane, capable of permanent electrostatic discharge <10⁹ ohm, food grade (FDA)
colour: transparent

Temperature Range:

from -40°C approx. to +90°C approx.
short-term to +125°C

Applications:

Special extraction and blowing hose for extremely abrasive solids in the food and pharmaceutical industries, especially in hazardous areas, where a hose wall capable of electrostatic discharge is required (in accordance with TRBS 2153 for flammable dust/solids (guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)) e.g.

for transporting sharp-edged foodstuffs, granulates
as a robust vacuum hose

Properties:

wall capable of permanent electrostatic discharge, surface resistance <10⁹ ohm
suitable for electrostatic discharge of flammable dust/solids where both ends of the spiral are earthed, in accordance with TRBS 2153 (zone 20)(guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)
wall material complies with: EU directives 89/109/EEC, 82/711/EEC, 85/572/EEC, 93/8 EEC, 97/48/EC, 2002/16/EC, 2002/72/EC, 2004/19/EC, 2005/79/EC, Reg. EC n. 1935/04 e Reg. EC n. 1895/2005 and
