Construction:

hose fabric permanently fixed mechanically to clamp profile spiral

Material:

clamp profile spiral: hot-dip galvanised steel band
wall: silicone coated glass fibre

Temperature Range:

from -60°C approx. to +300°C approx.
short-term to +350°C approx.

Applications:

Universal extraction and blowing hose for transporting air and gases with a high intrinsic and ambient temperature, e.g.

for blast furnace exhaust, welding fumes extraction
for flue gas extraction
for hot air
for engine and vehicle construction,
for aircraft construction, machine construction
for the metal working industry

Properties:

good heat resistance up to +300°C approx respectively +350°C approx.
flame retardant
limited vibration resistance
suitable for electrostatic discharge of non-flammable dust and gases with low conductivity, where both ends of the spiral are earthed and an inclination of <30 mm, in accordance with TRBS 2153 (zone 1, 21)(guidelines of German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety & Health)

Production lengths:
